Welcome to My Page!
I'm a software engineer at Cressi USA in Saddle Brook, NJ, and I'm spearheading the modernization of technologies that support the branch with the day-to-day operations.
Previously, I have worked as a consultant and software developer for various small businesses, non-profits, SaaS startups, and software vendors.
In my downtime, I like to explore the Queens & Long Island area, jogging, and working out. I'm also a member of the NYC Code & Coffee club,
where I have made great friends and met inspiring mentors. I'm open to connecting with others and talking about tech trends, finance, and sports.
My journey in technology started in 2020 during my senior year in college. Classes like Intro to Python, Web Design, and Cybersecurity sparked my curiosity for IT and software engineering.
Shortly after my graduation, I accepted a role as a Business Development Representative with Micro Focus (now OpenText).
During my tenure with the company, I studied the business's cybersecurity portfolio and developed rapport-building skills with C-suite managers across government, healthcare, & banking.
It was not until I completed my sales training that I realized that my true passion is understanding how software works and the advancements it brings to society.
So, I enrolled in Pace University's Master's in Computer Science program at the Seidenberg School in New York City, and I graduated in May 2024 with a 3.5 GPA.
During my time in school, I immersed myself in the fintech space, following thought leaders from Goldman Sachs and 6th Street.
Hearing about Marco Argenti, Martin Chavez, and Armen A.A. Avanessians's real-life experiences approaching finance challenges with a software engineering background unlocked a world of possibilities for me.
I am now replicating their problem-solving strategies at a smaller scale in Supply Chain, perfecting and fine-tuning data models and algorithms that improve the way Italian companies do business in the US.
